Installation guide
Connect your store in a few safe steps.
You do not need to be technical. Inspector installs like a normal WordPress plugin and remains read-only.
- 01Download Inspector
Save the ZIP file to your computer. Leave it zipped.
- 02Upload it to WordPress
In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin. Choose the ZIP, select Install Now, then Activate.
- 03Open FixMyStorefront
Use the new FixMyStorefront item in the left-hand WordPress menu. Your first local store preview appears there.
- 04Connect Commerce HQ
Open your Commerce HQ account, create a one-time pairing code, paste it into Inspector and choose the evidence you approve.
- 05Review before sending
Check the local results and evidence package. Nothing leaves the store until you select Send reviewed snapshot.
Do not unzip the file. WordPress needs the original ZIP package.
Deactivate and delete the old Inspector plugin, then upload the new ZIP. Your Commerce HQ records remain separate.
